The best evening of my life (so far) started off as a date night to my favorite restaurant. Anthony took care of all the planning, made the reservation, and let me know he would swing by thirty minutes early to pick me up. When Anthony got to my apartment a little before our "reservation" he let me know that he actually had the times mixed up and we were an hour ahead of schedule. He asked if I'd like to take a walk around campus in the meantime. As we strolled through campus we reminisced on just how much life has changed since the first time we toured UE our junior year of high school. At that time neither of us thought we'd end up attending this college, but now as we neared the end of our junior year it is difficult of find a corner of campus that doesn't hold a memory. As our walk continued, Anthony led me to my favorite spot on campus, a quiet spot nestled within the front oval, surrounded by beautiful landscaping and shade trees. He took a moment to pause in this spot, before turning to me and I knew this was about to be a moment I would never forget. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes! I truly can't imagine spending my life with anyone else, and we are so blessed to celebrate our commitment with our closest friends and family.
