We're getting married!!!

You could say the maid of honor is the connection. Her daughter and David's are best friends and Emmy lived with Jaime and her kids. Fast forward a few years to January 2015, when David started to Facebook message Emmy. Well chatting turned to him asking for her number which led to them texting daily. On January 31st 2015 Emmy did the annual polar plunge at White Bear Lake. She inquired to what he was doing later. Fast forward throughout the day and she finally said we are gonna hang out. Emmy went over that night and they sat up talking till 230am. She left and like a gentleman David is, said his goodbyes and actually didn't even give a kiss or a hug that night. That night they both knew there was something special but didn't know how special. They began dating and a year into their relationship moved into a rental together.

The day was like any other Tuesday. We both went to work and planned for a date night. Emmy got home and David was dressed like his normal self (basketball shorts and a sweatshirt). If anyone knows David he LOVES carbonees and on Tuesdays it is 2 for $8 pizza sandwiches so Emmy assumed that was where they were going. He started driving to the gas station in New Richmond where Emmy use to work part time and you could say they met there. 1st sign. He then proceeded to pretend as if he didn't know where an elementary school was that had an egg hunt coming up. He "found" the school which happened to be a block from his old apartment. He turned around in their parking lot which Emmy commented "hey we had some good memories there." 2nd sign. He then started to drive to Hudson. He said no to pizza (surprisingly) and said we should go get a pre dinner drink and think about what we wanted to eat. So he drove to the bowling alley where we had their first official date. 3rd sign. They had a couple drinks which David was super slow to drink at (4th sign). They actually put $20 in pull tabs and won $104. Finally he said they could eat and said lets go to Post Mark Grill (thats their special restaurant). When they got there Emmy had to use the restroom so she ran off right away. When she came back he was still at the front. He stated they had a table for them and started to walk her towards a different area that they have never seen. David walked into a wine celler that had a 2 person candlelight table with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and 2 light up candles which is what he used on their first valentines day dinner, and most importantly a small purple box. At that moment Emmy knew it was the moment in her life that she has always dreamed of. David got down on one knee, expressed his love for her and asked for Emmy to marry him.
