Is there a dress code?

Yes! Black tie attire. We encourage you to embrace your creative side - colors and textures welcome! The ceremony will take place on the beach, and the reception will be held in a tent on a golf course, so please keep this in mind when selecting your footwear and dress length. We will have an area to remove shoes before heading to the beach ceremony. What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm CST. We will shuttle guests to the beach from the Hotel Effie and Raven Golf Club. Of note, each shuttle holds ~25 people, so please plan to arrive early. Shuttles will depart at 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm.

Yes, shuttles to the ceremony, reception, and after party will be provided.

Is there parking for the ceremony?
Answer
We strongly recommend using the planned shuttles to attend the beach ceremony. If preferred, there will be parking available and shuttles from Raven Golf Course (reception location) ahead of the ceremony. Shuttles will depart for the ceremony at 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm.

Can we book our stay outside of Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort?
Answer
Everything within Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is easily accessible in this golf cart–friendly community. We highly recommend staying on property to avoid driving on major highways during the festivities.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to venue capacity limitations, all guests have been personally invited.

If I attempt to book a room through the room block and no rooms are available, am I still able to make a reservation with the discounted rate?
Answer
Yes, we have reserved a specific number of rooms at the discounted group rate. However, if rooms are unavailable at the time of booking, please contact Taylor at 815-861-8682. Additional rooms can be released at the discounted rate if needed.
