When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that you arrive 30 mins prior to the start of our ceremony (4:00 pm) to ensure everyone is seated and ready to go on time. Show up early and play some lawn/board games if you like!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We ask that you please dress in cocktail or semi-formal attire. Seattle Autumns can be unpredictable so we suggest bringing some layers and be prepared to dance the night away!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

In classic PNW fashion, quite unpredictable. We recommend bringing an extra layer and some waterproof outerwear in case of bad weather. But don't worry! If it does rain, the ceremony and reception will all be indoors.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is free parking available for everyone on-site.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Would Joe even attend if the answer was no? xD We will be serving dinner and dessert. Please come hungry!

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

We may not have all dietary options available, but please let us know in your RSVP if you have any restrictions, and we'll do our best to accomodate!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes please! We highly encourage you to help us record this special moment. Please use our hashtag #HouckedOnHoops if you do post on social media so we can see all of them in one space :)

Will you have a registry?

Answer

We’re skipping the traditional registry! But if you really want to give a gift, feel free to contribute to one of our cash funds :) We'll have a card box at the wedding or you can Venmo the couple at @Josephjhouck.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

No, transportation will not be provided. Lyft and Uber do provide services to and from the venue.

Can I bring my pet(s)?

Answer

Unfortunately no :( While we love fur babies, the venue does not allow pets on-site.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

We will definitely miss you but also understand that there are conflicts/unforeseen events. Please just let us know as soon as possible via text, phone call, or email. We are always happy to schedule another hang some other time :)
