The Hancocks 6.12.25

If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you’ve had the privilege of watching Emme and Blade grow up alongside one another. Their story began nearly seven years ago in the spring of 2018, where the bond between these two quickly became undeniable. What began as teammates on the Bolivar track team soon blossomed into an inseparable friendship. Throughout high school, Emme and Blade created some of their most cherished memories together: competing at the State track meet, attending prom, running for homecoming, enjoying Sonic date nights, stargazing, going on family vacations, and supporting one another in their various sporting events. Through these shared experiences, they learned to grow and evolve together, stepping into adulthood side by side. As college approached, Blade pursued his education with a track scholarship at SBU and later continued his studies with an MBA, while Emme completed her nursing degree at MSU. This season of life has brought even more joy: renovating and purchasing their first home, achieving dream jobs, becoming an Aunt and Uncle, skydiving, and traveling to new destinations. The years have flown by, but they have been filled with joy and adventure. Now, nearly seven years later, Emme and Blade are blessed to still call each other best friends, and soon to be spouses. Their love has only grown stronger over time, and they are excited to embark on this next chapter of their journey as partners, best friends, and soulmates. June 12th is of significant meaning to us, as the Hancock family has multiple generations that will celebrate their anniversaries alongside us. As Bladen carries on the Hancock name, we have chosen to carry on this tradition as well. We will be the third generation celebrating our love on this day. We are deeply grateful to all of our friends and family who have supported us, prayed for us, offered wisdom, and cheered us on throughout the years. We are thankful for the love we’ve shared, and we are thrilled to celebrate this moment with all of you.
