Traditional Ghanaian Wedding Ceremony

This is a vibrant, family-driven ceremony full of culture, symbolism, and celebration. It’s less about the couple saying vows to each other and more about the families recognizing and blessing the union. During the ceremony, the groom’s family brings a dowry (bride price) to the bride’s family which is a gesture of honor and respect to the bride’s family. The bride is asked three times if the family should accept the dowry. Once she accepts, the elders and family members pray, give advice, and declare the couple married.

Wedding Ceremony and Mocktail Hour

Formal Attire

Church service and ceremony officiated by the Pastor with exchange of vows and rings. Mocktail Hour to follow immediately on site. Reception is strictly by invitation only due to space capacity.
