Question

How do I get to Tagaytay from Manila?

Answer

agaytay is about a 1.5–2 hour drive from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) in Manila, depending on traffic. The easiest option is to book a private car or airport transfer, which offers door-to-door service directly to your hotel. Ride-share apps like Grab are also available from the airport. Several Tagaytay hotels offer shuttle or transfer services from Manila upon request, please check with your hotel directly to arrange pickup and confirm rates and schedules in advance. For budget-friendly travel, you can take a taxi or ride-share to the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) or Buendia bus terminal, then board a bus bound for Tagaytay. Bus rides usually take 2–3 hours, depending on traffic. We recommend allowing extra travel time, especially on weekends or holidays when traffic to Tagaytay tends to be heavier.
