We’re getting married

We attended the same high school. It was there we met in science class. Both of us use to sit in the front row of the class room. Then one day I (Aminata) was arguing with a classmate/friend of Manny at the time about something then Manny came in on our conversation saying don’t be talking to my friend like that. Then I turned around and told him “nobody was talking to you”, and “you should mind your business” (lol). That was his way of telling me he liked me. To make a long story short. Ever since that day we clicked. Then every day in class we would pass love notes to each other. Our science teacher even use to call us “love birds” and used to say it wouldn’t be surprising if we actually ended up getting married and here we are!

On the anniversary of when we first met, we went back to our old stomping grounds to do karaoke with friends. When "I'd Do Anything for Love" came on, we ran up to the front. When the music suddenly died down, I looked over and he was down on one knee. I screamed, shouted "YES," and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
