It’s amazing how two lives can be so close for so long without ever truly meeting. For years, we lived parallel lives — his best friend is my best friend’s brother — yet somehow, our paths never crossed. While he was off exploring the world and climbing Mount Everest, I was diving into my passions for styling and broadcast journalism. When the world began to reopen after COVID, fate finally stepped in. We met, and instead of rushing, we chose to start with friendship; a choice that revealed our shared values, passions, and love for life. After a year of long distance, we took a leap and moved to Colorado together. There, he encouraged me to pursue my master’s degree and supported me every step of the way. Over six wonderful years, we built a home filled with love, laughter, and our little family — our loyal dog and curious cat. Now, life has brought us full circle , back to Brooklyn, the place where it all began and where Joshua got down on one knee to ask me to spend forever with him.
