I met Iliana in 9th grade, 2012. Within a year of knowing each other she became my best friend. I asked her in high school if she would be my Maid of Honor so it was no surprise when I officially asked her as an engaged woman! In her words “Ummm who else would it have been??” She has seen me at my lowest of lows and all of my highs. She’s never failed to support me, listen to me, love me, and she always makes me feel seen, heard, and understood. My very dear, very beautiful, best friend, I love you!!! Best Man

My big bro. Growing up with his dominant personality was definitely interesting. A lot of arguing, but still a lot of love. I was always jealous of this guy because all of the girls I liked always talked about how fine he was in high school. Didn’t nobody want to hear that! I also remember him always beating me 1 on 1 on the basketball court as a kid. No matter what, I could never beat him. Now that we’re grown we both know what will happen on the court ;). Something that I will never forget is being in the 9th grade and making the varsity football team. Josh was in the 12th grade at the time and was a starter on the team as well. Instead of trying to be cool and acting like he didn’t know me, he introduced me to all his 12th grade friends. They all accepted me as one of their own. He even invited me out with the guys a few times. He doesn’t know it but that really meant a lot to me at the time. Today I look up to Josh and who he has become. A “go getter,” a “head hunter,” and having a never ending thirst for obtaining generational wealth. Whether we’re discussing different trading strategies in the market or talking about life in general I always love our conversations. I’m glad to call him my best man. - Emmanuel

My first friend! My baby cousin! My sister! We have literally watched each other grow up! Our mothers were friends before either of us were born. When I think of my childhood, I see Liz. From staying at each others house for a week at a time, begging mama to let us stay in the pool longer, jumping off the tall rock into the icy water in the mountains, getting lost on cruise ships, getting in trouble for talking to boys and being places we weren’t supposed to 😆 to seeing each other graduate college, get big girl jobs, move and have our own places. I am so so excited to get to add this to the list of things I get to experience with you!! - Amber

Best Man

Little bro! I would be lying to you if I said me and Isaiah’s relationship growing up was peaches and cream. We did not get along. At all! I wanted to choke that little boy often. I’m sure he felt the same. Isaiah’s personality was so strong and I just didn’t understand it growing up. But as I have gotten older and wiser, I understand who he is now. Isaiah is a strong individual. He speaks his mind rather you agree with him or not. He doesn’t change who he is for anyone. I respect that about him. Our relationship has grown now since we both had time to mature. Even when we didn’t get along growing up there is one thing I could never deny: the boy can cook! I remember one year he made some turkey thighs for Thanksgiving. I stand on those turkey thighs TILL THIS DAY!!! Isaiah can be whoever he wants to be in life. I believe he could run a Fortune 500 company if he wanted to. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for him. I’m glad to call him my best man. - Emmanuel
