A great day out!!! Catch the ferry from Brooke Street Pier, Franklin Wharf, Hobart. Be sure to pay the extra and book the posh pitt, free drinks and snacks on the way there and back. Spend the day exploring the wacky art pieces. Once you are done head back out and enjoy lunch & drinks on the big grassy hill (fingers crossed the sun is still out and about).
Head up the mountain and catch some of the wicked views of Hobart. Be sure to stop at the springs and get one of the best coffees in town. If you are feeling up for the adventure take a hike from here ( you can find all the options here https://www.wellingtonpark.org.au/assets/WP_Walk_Info_Sheet_A3-Nov17.pdf ). The Zig Zag track is always a lot of fun if you are up for the adventure :)
A must see!!! so many amazing walks... our favourite is Mt Amos Trail.
Worth a look!! Tassie has so many amazing wineries, distilleries and breweries . We'd be here all day if I was to list them all off. If you are in Launceston, check out the Tamar Valley wine route https://www.tamarvalleywineroute.com.au/
YES YES YES!!!! if you have the time be sure to check out this magical place. Many walks and adventure to be had. My favourite day walk is the Cradle Mountain Summit (if this isnt your cup of tea there are plenty more options). If you are up for some adventure you have to try the Canyoning... LOVED IT!!! Book in quick though, they only run from December - April https://cradlemountaincanyons.com.au/
Great little walk to check out
An amazing little sea side village
Worth a look if you are down this way
If you have a few days up your sleeves and looking for an amazing experience, you have to try this track. Perfect for those that are looking to try their first overnight hike. You just need your personal gear, sleeping bag and hiking boots. The cabins are flash, they even come equipped with memory foam mattresses.
One of our favourite places :)
