The closest airport is in San Luis Obispo (SBP), but many people fly into Los Angeles (LAX) or San Francisco (SFO).  Each airport is about 3-4 hours away from San Luis Obispo.

If you are driving north, take the Madonna Road exit and turn left onto Madonna Road.  

If you are driving south, take the Madonna Road exit and turn right onto Madonna Road.

Go a few feet and turn right into the Madonna Road parking lot, where you will find plenty of parking.
