We owe our love story to the one and only, Karen Rock! Emma and Karen met at a volunteer event for the Illinois Marathon in April of 2024. Karen was gushing about how her son was running his 9th marathon the next day, had just completed the Tokyo marathon and was running his final major in New York that November. Emma being Emma completely ignored the obvious and carried on with her weekend. That Monday Emma got to the office only for her boss, Emily Scherzer, to ask question after question on this Jordan Rock guy. Jordan quickly became the topic of the Busey Bank Exec Center Forth Floor, and only for everyone to start running in to him, except Emma. Finally, on Memorial Day, Jordan reached out via a bold DM saying he knew nothing about me, but would love for his mother to stop asking if we had gone out on a date yet. He took matters into his own hands and on May 31 Emma and Jordan went on their first date to the fine establishment of Billy Barooz. Soon after, where there was Jordan, there was Emma and they never looked back. Jordan has quickly became the favorite in the Newman family and Emma in the Rock family. Their love story is perfectly theirs and can't believe it took 30 years to create!
