FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be a formal affair with cocktail attire encouraged! Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit or jacket, while ladies can opt for a floor-length gown or formal cocktail dress. The reception will be outside in the grass, so please choose shoes wisely! We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

Question

Will there be transportation available for weekend events?

Answer

Transportation is limited in Door County. Uber/Lyft are not commonly used in the area, but there are other transportation options we recommend. If you are not driving, we recommend you rent a car or arranging transportation ahead of time with Door Co Drivers. For more information, please go to the Travel & Lodging page. Transportation will be provided to and from the reception for those staying at the Landmark Resort and Newport Resort only.

Question

What should I do during the break in between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

There is so much to downtown Egg Harbor to keep you busy until cocktail hour begins! Stop for a beer at our favorite brewery - One Barrel, explore the shops and boutiques of Main Street, or hit the beach for some beautiful views!

Question

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

Cocktail hour and the reception will be held outside under a tent. Weather is usually warm this time of year, but we recommend you check the weather ahead of time and dress accordingly.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

As much as we love all of the little ones in our lives, our celebration is an adults-only event, unless otherwise specified on your invitation. We hope you take this opportunity to have a fun parents night out! Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Will parking be available?

Answer

There is sufficient parking at the Donald and Karol Kress Pavilion, Stella Maris Church and the Horseshoe Bay Beach Club.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please refrain from bringing a guest unless otherwise noted on your invitation.
