Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The wedding will be held at the Venue at Stockton Lake in Stockton, Missouri. We would love to have an outside ceremony, however weather in Missouri in April is not always predictable, so the ceremony could be inside.

Why in the world is this wedding on a Thursday?

Answer

We know that a Thursday wedding might be a little unconventional, but we’ve chosen this day for a couple of important reasons. As college students, we’re working with a budget, and holding the wedding on a Thursday allows us to save significantly on venue and vendor costs. This also helps us keep the celebration intimate and affordable for us and our loved ones. Since we know a Thursday wedding might require a little extra planning, we’re sending out our save-the-dates earlier than usual to give you plenty of time to make arrangements, like taking time off work or booking travel. We truly appreciate your understanding and flexibility, and we’re so excited to have you there to celebrate with us!

Is there a dress code?

Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun colors.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

We suggest 20-30 minutes before the ceremony starts, as we will begin promptly.

Answer

Due to limited space and budget, we are unable to offer a plus-one to everyone. If your invitation includes a guest, we’ll be happy to have you both celebrate with us! We hope you understand and look forward to celebrating with you.

Our RSVPs have closed, so if you decide to come and have not responded, please bring a sandwich and a chair!
