Emily and Emma Kate met on a soccer field well before they could really talk to one another, shyly hiding behind their moms' legs while their older brothers played. They quickly became inseparable, and for the past 26 years have seen each other through every life milestone imaginable- from growing out of nap time, to bad hairstyles at sleepovers, to pierced ears, to countless dance recitals, to graduation, and now weddings. Emily + Emma Kate have been through it all together!

Troy and Lyle have been best friends since the 4th grade, when Troy's family moved onto the same street in Tarpon Springs. The boys soon earned the name Tryle (pronounced "Trial") as they caused havoc on Chesapeake Drive. While residing on opposite sites of the US, they make regular trips to visit one another including frequent surf trips to places like Morocco, Costa Rica, California, and Puerto Rico.

Emma Kate and Madison became best friends in middle school. The two bonded over their love of dancing, teeny bopper movies (Team Jacob all the way), and in more recent years trash reality Netflix shows. No matter the physical distance, loyalty and laughter have always remained at the center of Emma Kate and Madison's long-standing friendship.

Clocking more roommate time with Lyle than the bride herself, Ishmael (Trevor) and Lyle have been roommates 3 separate times. They have always lived in the same town, except once when Lyle moved to Jax Beach and Trev stayed in St. Pete. They were both very uncomfortable and Trevor promptly moved up to Jax, where he currently resides with his dog, Ted. Surf trips they have been on together include: Indonesia, Morocco, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.

Emma and Krista met in Mrs. Underwood's kindergarten class. At an early age they referred to each other as best friends and "sisters" given their brown hair, birthdays 24 hours apart, and "A" last names. Their early 2000s playdates mainly consisted of collecting American girl dolls, family ski trips, and celebrating their sweet 16 together with tight curls and sequins. While their late 20s have focused on a more "balanced" lifestyle of becoming yogis, falling asleep first in social settings, and finding the best martini in Jacksonville. Their 20+ years of friendship is rare to find!

Charpie and Lyle met in High School and played on the same international frisbee team. They also share an avid fascination for coffee and neature. Surf trips they have gone on together include: Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, and Tofino.
Hayley Adamson

Hayley and Emma have been friends ever since Adpi's Bid Day where they met right away at the Westcott Fountain after a long week of rush. They became roomies sophomore and junior year with our honorary roommate Hayley Seawell. Throughout all of collage Emma and Hayley were best friends and spent many late nights and early mornings studying, afternoons on the couch in the living room, and nights out in tally! I can't wait to stand by your side while you marry the love of your life!

"Stinky Stan" and Lyle have been friends since college. As a Jax Beach local, Stan is vitally important to not only Lyle, but also the entire Jax group, as he is in charge of ensuring the group that the Jags and Florida State will have great football seasons. If it is a sport, he will bet the over. Surf trips they have gone on together include: Panama and Costa Rica.
Hayley Seawell

Hayley and Emma met at Florida State University back in 2013 after both joined Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Hayley's friend from high school also lived in Emma's dorm and this is how the two really got to know each other. One fateful game day during Parents' Weekend, Hayley stumbled down to Emma's dorm room and the rest is history. During college the two became best friends and bonded over a love of unhealthy food & hanging with the boys from Phi Kappa Tau.
Zack Ernst

"Zerny" recruited Lyle into the Phi Tau fraternity using "we don't haze" and free drinks antics. They have been buddies ever since. Zern-dog isn't one to miss a good surf trip, and he surely doesn't miss a beer while on one. The only thing stopping this hunk of meat from missing any party is "two tests and a paper." Zack is a lawyer currently living in Central Florida and is single as a dollar bill (just saying). Surf trips they have gone on together include: Indonesia, Morocco, Panama, Mexico, and Costa Rica.

Emma Kate and Carly first became friends in High School, but their friendship truly solidified when Carly transferred to FSU and stayed on Emma Kate's dorm room floor bean-bag every night. Their shared nerdyness and love of science also helped! Despite the time that has passed and the physical distance between them, their friendship has remained steadfast and strong. Carly is so thrilled to stand by Emma Kate's side as she marries the love of her life!
Bryce Browning

"Bruce" is the sitting president of the Neptune Beach Sailing Association, where Lyle also serves on the board. As an outdoor enthusiast, you will most commonly see Bryce and Lyle together out surfing, biking, sailing, or enjoying a cold snack at Peters By The Sea. Surf trips they have been on together include Mexico, Costa Rica, Morocco, and Tofino.
Janie Hoffman

Janie is Lyle's older sister. Thanks to Adpi at Florida State, Emma and Janie became sisters long before Lyle making it official by marriage. From vacations and wedding dress shopping, to lazy beach days and home improvement projects in the rain, Emma Kate and Janie are the sisters neither one of them ever had!
Alex Alpert

Alex is Emma Kate's older brother. Lyle and Alex first met at FSU when he came to visit for a football game, and he likely couldn't imagine that the boy his sister had a crush on Freshman year was the man she was going to marry. Since then they have bonded over their love for beer and Tame Impala. Although they haven't been on a surf trip together, Alex did show Lyle and Emma Kate around in his local town in Germany!

I'm Berit, I'm Emma Kate's favorite cousin on her mom's side! I live in New Jersey as an artist and art teacher. Can't wait to dance the night away with my favorite lovebirds!

Lyle and Jon became friends while living together at the fraternity house. They share a common interest in the missing aircraft and the mechanics of water dispensary systems. They also both idolize Nigel Thornberry. Working together in support of the construction industry, they share a number of clients.
Michael Capalbo

Lyle can be found at Cap's (aka Michael) house most Friday afternoons and NFL Sundays. Lyle was Cap's coach for his surfing competition, where he won by a long shot. They are logging more and more hours of practice each week. Although they are great friends, Lyle has MAJOR BEEF with Cap's dog, Huxley.
