There are plenty of wineries around Margaret River you can visit. However if you are open to letting someone else drive we would recommend a tour. Been out with these guys a few times now on their private charters. They collect you from your accomodation and return you home. Along the way you visit a few known classics and many hidden gems.
The cape to cape runs along the front of the White Elephant and continues both in northerly and southerly direction. You can do sections of the walk easily from Gnarabup or other locations. Take plenty of water and a mobile phone! If you are really game the 140 kilometre (five to six day walk) track traverses along the ridge and beaches of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park following the coast from Cape Naturaliste, Dunsborough to Cape Leeuwin, Augusta.
Bring an empty basket and an empty belly to the Margaret River Farmers Market. Every Saturday morning it’s full of local produce and recently won the title of Australia’s top Farmers Market. Plenty of breakfast options and snacks to try.
Plenty of options for yoga classes in the region including ones in both Dunsborough or Margaret River. Yoshi yogi may also make an appearance.
If you are looking for a place that is easily accessible but also stunning check out canal rocks and the nearby Smiths Beach. You also travel past Injidup Natural Spa at the end of Wyadup Road and a selection of other sights to get there.
