Yes! Transportation will be provided to the ceremony and reception venues. Please indicate on your RSVP card if you are going to use transportation. Buses will board from 4:20 pm to 4:35 pm in downtown Winston-Salem and Old Town Club. All buses will depart at 4:40 pm SHARP for the ceremony. Buses will also take guests to the reception venue after the ceremony. Pick Up Location Downtown Winston-Salem: - Main Street, next to the Reynolds American Inc Building. Please use the following address in your GPS: 410 N Main Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101 - There is a parking deck at the corner of N Chestnut and E Fifth Street, one block from the bus pick-up location. The bus pick-up location is down the street from the Kimpton Cardinal Hotel and The Katharine Brasserie & Bar. Pick Up Location at Old Town Club (Reception Venue): - Address: 2875 Old Town Club Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27106 - Please park at Old Town Club in the main parking lot and walk to the buses. Parking is NOT permitted along the road near the neighborhood homes. The buses will likely be parked along the road near the first few houses due to the size of the buses. Please drive past them and park in the parking lot. Bus Information: The buses are red and white with "Holiday" on the side. The front door of each bus will have a sign reading "Barksdale/Kinnin Wedding" Buses will depart the reception and bring guests back to Main Street in Downtown Winston-Salem at 9:00 pm, 10:00 pm, and 11:00 pm. If you choose to drive yourself, parking is available at both the ceremony and reception locations. If you are driving yourself, the address is 1 University Parkway, High Point, NC. This will take you to one of the main entrances. At the security gate, say you are here for the Barksdale-Kinnin wedding, and they will direct you to the chapel parking lot.
Please arrive around 5:00 pm. If you know the father of the bride, you know the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 pm (if not a few minutes early). If you are late, we will, unfortunately, not be able to seat you.
Black-tie optional. Dark suits, tuxes and formal gowns are appropriate!
Your wedding invitation will indicate if you are allotted a plus one.
We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only event. Thank you for understanding!
The ceremony is indoors. The reception space has an outdoor balcony, half of which will be covered with a tent.
