The best way to get to Glen Falls House is to take Amtrak from NYC's Moynihan Train Hall to Hudson, where we can arrange to have you picked up and brought to GFH or another accommodation. The train ride takes approximately 2 hours. We recommend you take the 1:20 pm, 2:19 pm, or 3:15 pm trains, which will all arrive in time for our welcome dinner on Friday.
If you plan to drive upstate from the city, please note that you will absolutely hit traffic on a Friday afternoon -- you are likely to arrive 2 hours later than you had anticipated, so please factor that in to your Friday plans so as not to miss our welcome dinner! Yes you will need to take that day off of work, you're welcome.
