Question

How do I book a taxi in Florence?

Answer

Taxis in Florence can be limited, particularly during peak hours and throughout the wedding weekend, so we strongly recommend arranging transportation in advance whenever possible. Taxis may be booked directly by calling: • +39 055 4242 • +39 055 4390 Guests may also book taxis through their hotel or Airbnb concierge, or via the AppTaxi (“Taxi 4242”) app, which is commonly used in Florence. Please note that guests are kindly asked to arrange their own transportation to and from the venue. For the return journey, a taxi attendant will be available on site throughout the evening to assist guests with arranging transportation home.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation includes a guest, they are warmly welcome. Due to limited space, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests. If a plus-one was previously discussed or if you have any questions regarding your invitation, please feel free to reach out. Capacity is limited, and accommodations are subject to availability.

Question

What’s the weather like in June?

Answer

Florence in June is typically warm and sunny, with daytime highs averaging around 80°F / 28°C (or hotter)— though it can often feel hotter in the afternoons. We recommend lightweight fabrics and comfortable shoes for walking on cobblestones.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

As much as we love little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.

Question

Do I need Euros?

Answer

Yes. While most restaurants and shops accept credit cards, some taxis and smaller businesses prefer cash.

Question

Should I book activities in advance?

Answer

Yes. June is high season in Florence, so we recommend reserving tickets early for museums such as the Uffizi or the Accademia (home to Michelangelo’s David).

Question

How do I get to the venues?

Answer

Guests are asked to arrange their own transportation to Palazzo Gondi and Villa di Maiano. Taxis can be booked through hotels, and we strongly recommend reserving in advance, as availability can be limited.

Question

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Yes — most of the celebration will take place outdoors. Dancing will follow indoors.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes, we do. Please visit our Registry page for more details.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, but parking is limited. We strongly recommend arriving by taxi.
