Due to Covid-19, we have decided to postpone our wedding celebration to a later date. We will still be getting married July 25 among immediate family, and will be live-streaming the ceremony for all other invited guests. We appreciate your understanding of our decision, and look forward to celebrating our marriage with you on a later date! Please continue to check this website for updates! After graduating from the University of North Florida in 2017, Collin decided to work as a Catholic missionary through FOCUS, an organization that places recent college graduates at other university campuses. Collin got placed at Tulane University in New Orleans, where he met Emma, who was in her junior year of college and involved in the Tulane Catholic Center. FOCUS requires their missionaries to be on a dating fast during their first year. Determined to stay true to his dating fast and make his crush on Emma unknown, Collin barely spoke to Emma at all during his first year at Tulane. However, on the day his dating fast ended and Emma's last night in New Orleans before returning to Florida for the summer, Collin asked for her phone number. That summer, while she was living in Gainesville, FL and he was living in Melbourne, FL, Collin asked Emma out on a date. Impressed that he was willing to drive three hours just to take her out on a date, Emma said yes. They dated the rest of that summer in Florida, and all throughout Emma's senior year of college in New Orleans. When Emma graduated college in May 2019, she decided to take a job back in her hometown of Sarasota, FL. She convinced Collin, who finished his two-year commitment with FOCUS, to apply for jobs near her and he ended up working and living an hour away in St. Petersburg, FL. In September, when the couple was visiting Buffalo for a family wedding, Collin proposed to Emma at Niagara Falls, where his parents had also gotten engaged. She said yes!! Now, the couple is counting down the days until they can celebrate their marriage with you :)
