Zack and I “formally” met at Buffalo Wild Wings after being invited for dinner by a mutual friend. We jokingly took a picture that night not knowing where we would be two years later. Over the last two years we have been able to progress our friendship into a loving relationship and soon to be marriage.

Throughout May and June, Zack tried to convince me that we needed a beach trip. I, being unaware of his plans, kept saying how expensive rooms were right now and that we needed to wait. Finally, he convinced me into a trip to Mexico Beach for a Saturday night. On Sunday morning, Rowan was eager to go walk on the beach one more time before we left. I almost refused (I mean who wants to drive back with sandy feet) but I agreed. Little did I know, Rowan and my mom were helping Zack with his plan. While standing on the beach, Zack asked me to be his wife and I could not be more excited. We are so greatful for all the support from our family and friends in this relationship and future marriage.
