Will and Emma always knew of each other in high school and had mutual friends. They would see each other around but never talked. When they went away for college, things changed. They started talking to each other through social media, then texting. On NYE, Will invited Emma to a party. She was so nervous that she cried to her mom and almost didn't go! When they got to the party they had the best time together and instantly became attached at the hip. When the ball dropped, Will made the first move and they shared their first kiss! They began officially dating on January 5th, 2019. They did long distance for a short time before they both came home for the summer of 2019 and had the best time hanging out every day! That fall, Will moved to Grand Rapids so they wouldn't be far apart. In August 2020, Will and Emma moved into their first apartment together with their dog Flynn. They navigated finishing college and starting full-time jobs together as well as learning to live with another person. Fast forward to March 5, 2023. Will and Emma went on a cruise together. After 2 previous attempts to propose on vacation, Will aksed Emma to go stargazing. They looked at the stars, talked about life, and Will popped the question. Emma was so surprised. It took her about 5 minutes to realize what was actually happening. She said yes! Wedding planning began and fast forward, here we are approaching the big day!
