Will and Emma played as children here. Now they enjoy walks along the lake, going to the many fantastic restaurants nearby, and lovely views of the Ore Dock.
A relatively easy hike, but be prepared for many stairs. On top is a gorgeous view of Marquette and the lovely Lake Superior, including Presque Isle where Will and Emma will be married.
True to name, this is a fantastic spot to catch the sunset. Alternatively, for early risers, enjoy Emma's favorite, the Lake Superior sunrise (ask Emma for the best sunrise spots).
A relatively easy hike through the woods to see a spectacular set of waterfalls. This can be a short hike to the waterfalls or go deep into the woods for a long adventure.
This has been the location of countless happy memories between Will and Emma. McCarty's Cove was a short walk from their college apartment. W&E would often admire the beautiful ornate houses along Arch and Ridge St.
Shiras Park has a nice playground and a nice view of Picnic Rocks.
This disc golf course doubles as a gorgeous walk through the woods near Dead River.

This is a nice picnic location within walking distance from the Hampton Inn. Will and Emma had a tradition with college roommates eating Main St Pizza here after college finals.
Throughout our college years, we spent many summers walking Arch street and Ridge street admiring the ornate houses. There are so many different styles and colors to look at. Be sure to check out Dandelion Cottage on Arch St between Cedar and Spruce Street.

This is a strenuous hike through the woods and up a rocky cliff side. If you're feeling up to a bit of a challenge, this hike is absolutely worth it. On top of the mountain is a breathtaking view of Marquette and Lake Superior. Nothing beats this view in the fall when the leaves are vibrant.
This is a gorgeous beach location or take a walk through the woods. Go all the way to Little Presque Isle or just take a quick trek.
