Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Redland Family Farm is a Christmas tree farm located in Oregon City, Oregon, just 30 minutes from PDX. Please allow extra time for traffic on the day of the wedding.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m. on the dot. Please allow extra time for your drive as Fridays often have increased rush hour traffic. We will have refreshments for guests who arrive early.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code is semi-formal.

Question

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors under the shade of a large oak tree. Parasols and personal fans will be provided. Dinner will take place indoors, with an indoor/outdoor reception.

Question

Where can I stay?

Answer

Oregon City is located a quick 30 minutes Southeast of Portland. Check out the Travel tab for specific hotel recommendations. We recommend staying in SE Portland for its proximity to the venue, restaurants, breweries, and other attractions.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

August in Portland is often hot and dry. We recommend dressing for a warm evening, as 5:00 p.m. is peak heat. The sun will set around 9:00 p.m.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

Redland Family Farm has a large parking lot near the entrance. When you turn in from the main road, it will be immediately on your left.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes! We will have kids' activities set up. We invite your little ones to celebrate with us.

Question

What is the closest airport?

Answer

Portland International Airport (PDX) is the main airport in the area.

Question

By what date should I RSVP?

Answer

July 5th!

Question

Should I bring gifts, or send them ahead of time?

Answer

We prefer gifts be sent ahead of time, however, we will also have a gift table set up near the entrance of the venue.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have already considered plus ones when sending out our invitations. If your RSVP includes a plus one, you are welcome to bring a guest. If you would like to bring someone and your invitation did not include a plus one, please contact us directly, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Will this wedding be boring?

Answer

NO! We are actively planning a wedding full of fun and surprises. Be ready to party!
