Mackenzie Blackstock

Maid of Honor

Emma and I met while working at our first jobs right out of college. I knew right away that we’d be friends. When we moved in together, we were still practically strangers. But over the course of that 6 month lease, we bonded over the chaos that was apartment 623 and quickly became best friends. I’m so thankful for that little apartment and the lifelong friendship it brought me. Emma is one of my biggest supporters and never fails to show up when I need help. She is one of the most courageous people I know, and everyone who crosses her path can feel her strength. I love her dearly and can’t wait to stand by her side on the big day.

Kaleb Heffley

Best Man

Kaleb and Tyler are somewhat your typical little brother to big brother relationship. Due to the age difference, they were not exactly super close early on. It was not until the one summer Tyler spent with his family in Tampa, FL that they really became close and bonded during their evening workouts. After graduating college, Tyler went to live with his family in Tennessee while working on getting into the Air Force. That’s when Kaleb and Tyler truly became best friends. They spent endless hours playing video games, working out, and making runs to the gas station for late-night snacks.

Tristan Norman

Bridesmaid

One of my earliest (and favorite) memories of Emma is one that I’m sure she’s tired of hearing. When we were freshmen in high school we roomed together on show choir competition trips. She always arrived later in the evening than the rest of us, because of band. On one such Friday, she arrived and prepared to shower before bed. The shower started running, and about 2 minutes later Emma came flying out of the bathroom in her underpants, shirt still wrapped around her ballet bun, shouting that the shower head was possessed. Sure enough, when we all went to check it, the water pressure was making it spin around out of control. After a long laugh (and an attempt to stabilize the shower head) we all settled in for the night. After that we became fast friends, and have been ever since.

Scott Miller

Groomsman

Scott and Tyler attended Slidell High together and their friendship started through mutual friends. Over time, they became close friends and spent almost every weekend together. Even after Tyler went to LA Tech, Scott and Tyler continued to remain close. Scott was especially a great friend when he helped Tyler repair his 2002 Camry after it was in pretty bad shape due to a wreck on the way back from Tampa, FL. To this day, Scott and Tyler might not talk for months at a time but they are always there for each other and visit any chance they get.

Jordan Weatherly

Bridesmaid

Emma and I met working at Banfield together and we instantly clicked. Between having drinks at the apartment to driving to Knoxville to work a day and everything else in between we became really close friends. I'm so thankful for our friendship.

Maison Martin

Groomsman

Maison and Tyler have been friends since attending Slidell Jr. High together. That’s also where they started playing football together and continued to play together through high school. They were truly brothers on and off the field. They spent endless hours playing COD before waking up for those early summer football workouts. Over the years, Maison and Tyler have continued to be brothers to each other and share memories despite living hundreds of miles apart.

Alex Karcher

Bridesmaid

Emma and I met through our college sorority but really got close when she stayed with me for perfecting week. After that I knew I found a lifelong friend who I could be silly and stupid with. From study dates to cruises to the best concert ever and now to a wedding. Can’t wait to be apart of your special day!

Brandon Richardson

Groomsman

Brandon and Tyler attended Slidell High together and became friends through mutual friends. They eventually got very close and became best friends. Throughout high school, they spent numerous weekends together and shared many memories. There were the weekly trips to Buffalo Wild Wings and the occasional cook-out. Even though Brandon went to Southeastern and Tyler to LA Tech, they always made a point to get together while both in Slidell. Even after going their separate ways in life, Brandon and Tyler have continued to share deep conversations and seize any opportunity to visit each other.

Kira Bagley

Bridesmaid

Emma and I met at our old Banfield in Tennesse. It feels like we immediately became friends and she helped make work so much more enjoyableand fun despite it being chaotic. After a lot of laughs and fun unfortunately we both had to move but that doesn’t mean the good times stop; they just have longer breaks. She truly is such a reliable and great friend and I’m so happy to be apart of her special day!

Simon Blache

Groomsman

Simon and Tyler attended school together all through Slidell Jr. High, Slidell High School, and Louisiana Tech University. During their time at LA Tech studying Mechanical Engineering, they were roommates all 4 years and became close friends. Since graduating college, they have continued to stay in touch and visit each other whenever possible.

Clara Dougan

Bridesmaid

Emma has always been in my life for as long as I can remember. We grew up at church together and have lasted as friends through even the most awkward teenage phases and cringey crushes. And there were a lot of of cringey crushes. Now that we are both adults, no matter how far away we are from each other, we know the other is always a phone call away to rant. I am so excited for this new chapter in her life as she marries the love of her life. Congratulations Emma and Tyler, let’s celebrate wooohoooo!

Alex Forbes

Groomsman

Alex and Tyler went to Slidell High School together and their friendship started through mutual friends. Eventually, they became best friends and spent almost every weekend together. Over the years, Alex and Tyler pretty much became brothers. Even though Alex ended up going to college at LSU and Tyler to LA Tech, they continued to stay in touch and spend many holiday breaks together. To this day, their busy, distant lives don’t keep them from being brothers.
