Tyler and I have decided to continue planning our wedding for Aug 22, 2020. We realize rules are constantly changing, but as of now we are still planning on getting married and don't see that changing. We will supply masks and hand sanitizer throughout the venue, but it is overall up to you if you use them. We encourage that any person who is immune-compromised or concerned wear a mask. We hope you and your family will still be able to help us celebrate, but we understand if you are unable to just let us know as soon as possible.
We first met on a camping trip with Emma's uncle when she was in 7th grade, and Tyler was in the 8th. From the moment we met, we were instantly best friends. We dated long-distance (Emma - Spokane, Tyler - Othello) for 3 months, then he eventually broke up with Emma saying “one day we will get back together ”. Emma then responded with “yeah, that's what everyone says when they break up with someone”. She was crushed, you know, first loves always hurt. Fast forward 5 years of silence, he came to Spokane for Line school and was staying for 4 months. Tyler asked Emma to coffee to catch up and it turned into a 10-hour date! It was like we never stopped talking. So from then on, we dated while he was in Spokane and then long-distance for about a year and a half. We then moved to Moses Lake to start our lives together. We have now been together for 4 years and we became engaged on a hike in the Snoqualmie National Forest. We can't wait to celebrate our wedding day and future with all of you!
