What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see everyone dressed up with us so the dress code will be semi-formal. We kindly ask that our guests avoid jeans and colors reserved for the bride - whites, creams, and ivories. Please prepare for a warm day and unpredictable Iowa weather! The short ceremony will be held outside followed by an indoor cocktail hour and reception.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to capacity limitations, we can only provide a limited number of plus ones. If you have been given a plus one, you will be able to see it when you RSVP!

Are children allowed to attend?

Answer

If your children are indicated on the RSVP, they are more than welcome to attend! However, we are limiting this to family members of the bride and groom due to the limited capacity of the venue.

Can we take our own photos and videos throughout the day?

Answer

We kindly ask that our guests put away their cellphones for an unplugged ceremony, and that no pictures be taken during this time. We love our photographer and can't wait to share our amazing photos with you all. You are more than welcome to take all the pictures and videos during the reception!

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is a gravel parking lot very close to the ceremony and reception venue. We ask that all cars be removed from the parking lot by 10 am Sunday.

Is there a hotel nearby to stay at?

Answer

Yes! While there are no hotels located in Saint Charles, we have reserved a hotel block in West Des Moines. This area is convenient for those who may be flying in to the DSM airport and is a ~25 minute drive on I-35 from the venue. More details can be found in the travel section.
