We are expecting a number of guests with high-risk conditions, children, and guests whose travel could result in exposure to or the spread of the virus. For these reasons, we ask that all guests take a COVID-19 test before arriving and that you stay home if you are feeling sick, have tested positive for COVID or have had a known contact with someone who has. It is our preference that guests who are eligible be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and boosted before the wedding. Vaccines, distancing and masks significantly reduce the spread of COVID-19 but nothing is 100% effective. We encourage you to take any precautions that will help you feel comfortable and safe and we understand if you choose not to attend. We promise to let you know ASAP if any wedding plans change due to COVID-19 or if we determine the need to adjust our COVID protocols as we get closer to the date. All activities will be outdoors or will have an outdoor option.
The celebration will be fully outdoors; however the reception area is fully covered and open air. We might get damp, but we're planning to party rain or shine.
Yes, children are welcome to attend. Please keep in mind that people will be drinking alcohol and this is going to be a big, loud party. Please include your kids when you RSVP to make sure there are plenty of chairs and enough food for everyone! Please note that there will be open fire pits and the wedding will be taking place beside the French Broad River and we encourage guests with children to be especially mindful of kids near the water.
We will be ordering food and seating for the exact number of people who RSVP, so do it! Please let us know if your plans change after submitting your RSVP.
