Enjoy a walk in the morning and watch the surfers past the pier!
Ventura Botanical Gardens
Check out great views of the Pacific and all of Ventura while hiking up the hilly gardens above City Hall! We recommend going early to beat the heat.
Ventura Harbor Village
Check out the shops and restaurants at the Harbor! Brophy Bros, Harbor Cove Cafe, and The Greek have great food! You can also rent a boat for an hour and cruise around the harbor and Pierpont neighborhood.
Beach House Tacos
This place has some of the best fish tacos in Ventura! Bonus points for being on the pier and having Made West Brewing upstairs with amazing sunset views!
Fluid State Beer Garden
Enjoy a nice beer (see if they have Pliny!) and pizza by the slice! Order at the bar and find a picnic table outside. Great for causal, large parties.
Padaro Beach Grill
This spot has great burgers and views of the ocean and passing trains in Carpinteria! Right next to the wedding venue, this restaurant has open space and lots of picnic table seating.

One of Emma's favorite bars! Although it is popular with the younger crowd at night! Lose yourself on the dance floor under the oversized disco ball! Also good for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails.
