There is a saying; if you want to hear God laugh, tell him your plans! Well this past year of COVID has been a time of laughter and tears as we have scheduled, postponed and re-scheduled again our wedding date, only to have to postpone once more. As a result we decided to elope, however we still want to share this special time with God, our family and friends. With that being said, we will be renewing our vows in church followed by a reception on December 11, 2021. We hope you will mark this date on your calendar and plan to join us on that date. Invitations will be sent out late summer/early fall.
We met our freshmen year of college at George Mason University. We lived on the same floor in the freshmen dorm and hung out through mutual friends. We both were involved in Young Life and did not officially start "talking" until a weekend at Rockbridge, a Young Life camp located in Goshen, VA. After about a month of countless laughs and memories, we started dating in November of 2014. From learning how to shoot a gun to learning how to shop without going nuts, we have so many incredible memories that will be cherished forever. We learned so much about each other throughout college, which helped our relationship grow into what it is today. Throughout college, we knew there was something special between the two of us and we were meant to be together forever. In December of 2018, Tate proposed on Morris Island in Charleston, South Carolina and now we are getting MARRIED!! We cannot wait to celebrate with all of our friends and family on our wedding day!!
