The dress code for the wedding is Black tie optional. Bridesmaids will be wearing Burgundy - but feel free to wear any other color. We are going for a classy look, but no need for a full Tux for the men if that is not your preference.
We would recommend staying at least 3-4 days if your situation allows. A majority of the wedding party plans to arrive in Budapest the Tuesday (9/22) ahead of the weekend. Feel free to work Budapest into whatever European tour you want to plan, just make sure to arrive by Friday afternoon the 25th. A 'Things to Do' tab will be added as we get closer for more detailed itinerary information.
We have secured room blocks with the Hotel Oktogon, Hotel Moments, and Mystery Hotel for your stay. While we would love to have everyone together, we understand that there are other preferred options. Please let us know if you plan to book a hotel outside of those listed.
Your presence is out present :) No need to bring gifts, there will be an opportunity to give out cash during a dance with the bride, per Hungarian tradition.

It's very easy to get around the city walking and using public transit. Download the Budapest Go app to buy single or day train passes. When you board the train, validate by scanning the QR code outside the train car or inside near the front or back of the train.
