What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal attire. For ladies, this includes a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. For men, this includes a suit with a tie. Spring and summer colors are encouraged!

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception are taking place at River Farm. It is the headquarters of the American Horticultural Society. It is located at 7931 E Boulevard Dr, Alexandria, VA 22308.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors. The reception will be outdoors under a tent.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

For your convenience, a shuttle will depart from the Hilton Old Town at 4:30 pm for the ceremony. Return service will run from 9:00-10:45 pm. Please inform us if you plan to use the shuttle when you RSVP.

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, you may park at the venue. Please park on the main circle with one tire on the grass and one tire on the asphalt. Parking is not permitted on E. Boulevard Drive or George Washington Memorial Parkway.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

We are limiting our guest list to adults and only children of immediate family. Thank you!

River Farm's grounds are considered historic and extensive preservation work takes place each year to maintain the gardens. Smoking, vaping, fireworks, sparklers, confetti, and flower petals are prohibited. Thank you!
