We met while working together at Dynamit in early 2019 and quickly became good friends. Our friendship grew as we spent time in the office, at work events, playing soccer together, and enjoying happy hour beers. While one of us made our interest in the other much more obvious (Emma), it was clear to them both that there was something more there. Eventually, after much denial and many dollar beer nights at Meister’s Bar, we decided to jump in and date in secret at work. That soon turned into Steve packing a bag for Emma’s and never leaving…one heck of a positive that came from the quarantine. The secret was out, and the Funkajawa’s were in, for life.
