Avec West Loop is our favorite restaurant! We highly recommend the chorizo-stuffed medjool dates.
The best hamburgers in Chicago. Au Cheval doesn’t take reservations and can get busy, so we recommend going during off hours or putting your name in and then grabbing a drink at Haymarket Pub & Brewery across the street.
We had our first date at one of Chef Stephanie Izard's restaurants and have loved her ever since. Duck Duck Goat (where we celebrated our 1st anniversary) is awesome, as is her famous Girl and The Goat (where we celebrated our 2nd anniversary).
Check out Good Ambler for breakfast or brunch. They have great coffee, pastries, and chocolate.
Emporium has a fun selection of beers and arcade games. Steve loves a game of Frogger and beating Emma at air hockey. Emma enjoys their sour beers and Skee Ball.
Though we haven’t been to this new Guinness brewery, we walk by it all the time, and it always looks fun.
The architecture tour is one of the best ways to see and learn about Chicago. We've done the tour about five times and always love it.
Randolph is one of the main streets in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood and is known across the city for restaurants, bars, and shops. You'll find Anthropologie, LuluLemon, Jeni's Ice Cream, Levain Bakery, McDonald's headquarters (featuring a global menu), and restaurants like Au Cheval and Girl and The Goat.
We love the Riverwalk for walking, hanging out, and grabbing a drink or a root beer float.
