Lake Mohave is a 15 minute drive from our hotel and is where we will be spending most of our time. Unfortunately, the Colorado River is a little shallow just south of Davis Dam and boating is more enjoyable up on the lake. Plus, it's a little warmer water too! Katherine's Landing is the marina closest to the hotels and where we'll set up base. There's a restaurant, convenience store and boat/jet ski rentals available as well as slips for rent for those of you bringing toys. Be sure to check out rental options if you're looking for a way to explore the lake. There are plenty of options to go-in-together on rentals of pontoon boats as well as equipment rentals!
The banks of the mighty Colorado River are accessible ALL over the place (even at Harrahs!) so we definitely recommend making time to enjoy splashing around in the river while you're in town. Bullhead City Park is just across the river on the Arizona side and is a great place to spread out if the Harrahs beach is a little crowded.
Ryan introduced Emma to Dutch Bros and it took 1.5 years before she was able to finally try them out. We got surprised on a random river trip with the news that there was now a Dutch Bros in Bullhead! It's been a 1-2x a day while we are in town tradition. If you're going to Dutch Bros on wedding weekend... chances are Em and Ry have an order at the ready ;)
This historic mining town has wild burros that roam the streets, snack on carrots if you've got them, and occasionally do hilarious animal things. There's a restaurant, old-timey performers, little shops and antiques, and a whole lot of nifty little hidden treasures to find. It's best in the colder months but if you're looking for fun away from the water, highly suggest checking this out!
This hotel has a TON of family friendly options for entertainment. They've got a bowling alley, a classic car museum, a movie theatre, AND one of the better arcades on the strip. Also, this hotel is accessible via water taxi!
