The foundation of Ross and Emma's love, was sparked through their friends, whom they value as family. Through these friends, Ross and Emma met in an agronomy class at Iowa State University during their sophomore year. Ross was studying agricultural systems technology and Emma, agricultural journalism. Through hanging out for a semester and then a partial summer (Emma missed home too much so she left Ross in Ames while she moved home) the two bonded over their similar upbringings for the love of the land, love for their families and what soon developed into a love for each other. When Emma returned to Ames in August, their worlds fell into place, bringing us to today! The two have become their absolute best friends and are thrilled to be starting their lives together.
