Travel

The Wedding Website of Emma Robison and Ricardo Rodríguez
Airports, travel tips, & trusted accommodation options. Note for U.S. citizens traveling to Mexico: The immigration process is very easy. You just need your passport. The immigration officer at the airport will ask you how long you are staying and the purpose of your visit before stamping your passport and letting you through with a tourist visa for the amount of time you requested (up to 90 days).

Flight

Aeropuerto Internacional de Queretaro (QRO)

The most convenient airport to fly into would be the international airport in Santiago de Queretaro (QRO). It's about 40 minutes by car from downtown, where the wedding will take place.

Flight

Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez (MEX)

You also have the option of flying into Mexico City and taking a 3 hour bus directly from the airport to the Queretaro bus terminal. The bus costs $30 one-way per person. If you notice a big difference in prices between flying into Queretaro versus Mexico City, this could be a worthwhile option. Reach out to Emma or Ricardo for more information; we've taken this route multiple times before. :)

Hotel

Hotel Madero

69 Calle Francisco I. Madero, Santiago de Querétaro, Qro. 76000, Mexico

PRICE RANGE: $72-92 per night (1-4 people per room) This hotel has a great location. It's in the middle of downtown and right between the ceremony and reception locations. It is well-known and popular for tourists. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with AC available in every room. If you would like to have a ground floor room or any specific accommodations, be sure to include them in the comments before booking.

Hotel

Hotel Hidalgo

11 Calle Francisco I. Madero, Santiago de Querétaro, Qro. 76000, Mexico

PRICE RANGE: $45-94 per night (1-6 people per room) This hotel has a great location. It's in the middle of downtown and right between the ceremony and reception locations. It is well-known and popular for tourists. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with AC available in every room. If you would like to have a ground floor room or any specific accommodations, be sure to include them in the comments before booking. This hotel has a high-quality restaurant on the ground floor that is open to the public. However, because of that, it can be a bit noisier than other hotels in the daytime.

Hotel

Hotel La Casona de Josefa

31 Hidalgo, Santiago de Querétaro, Qro. 76000, Mexico

PRICE RANGE: $80-125 per night (1-4 people per room) This hotel is the nicest one we are recommending, for those who are looking for a more *luxurious* experience. There is a cafe and restaurant in the hotel where a continental breakfast is included if selected when booking. It's a little further from the ceremony and reception locations than the other hotels, but still within walking distance and in the heart of downtown. This option is more handicap accessible than the other ones, but be sure to include any requested accommodations (like handicap accessible bathrooms or a ground floor room) in the comments when booking.
