Wedding Party

Emma Coné

Bride

Emma Coné is a no nonsense taking, no drama having, put you in your place type of woman. She met Preston Walker their senior year of high school. They would continue to date through long distance while Emma attended the great university of Texas A&M! Emma is a student at South Texas College of Law-Houston, studying to become an attorney to start helping others.

Preston Walker

Groom

Preston is nowhere near as tough (or badass) as Emma. Yet, he is still a semi-cool dude. Preston remembers walking down the hallway to meet Emma for the first time. After that encounter Preston knew something had changed for him forever. After graduating Cum Laude from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, Preston has decided to enter the culinary scene and presently works at Josephine's Gulf Coast Tradition. He is more than thrilled to be exploring the unknown with his soon to be wife.

Sydney Young

Maid of Honor

From the moment we met in law school, Sydney and I became inseparable. Lovingly called "the dynamic duo", we're basically attached at the hip--if you see one of us, the other isn't far behind! Sydney has been my confidante, my study partner, and my constant source of support. From surviving law school together to celebrating life's biggest moments, she's been my partner-in-crime through it all. Sydney has seen me at my best and my worst, and she's always loved me unconditionally. I couldn't imagine standing at the altar without my other half by my side.

Austin Kirkland

Best Man

I have known Austin since TIFI football. However, we would not become real friends until Junior High when we would terrorize Mr. Peatry during band class. I knew Austin was someone I wanted to stick with when we both realized how much we loved movies which resulted in us making our own in home Godzilla movie during a Christmas break. Austin and I have continued our love of film by discussing it anytime we are together especially when we are watching each other perform horribly on the golf course. I could not think of a better person to call a friend than Austin.

Regan Smith

Matron of Honor

Regan is proof that heroes don't wear capes--sometimes they're just awesome community college classmates who stick up for you! Regan and I met at San Jacinto Community College when she fearlessly stood up for me against a classmate who mocked me, and from that moment, I knew Regan was someone special. We were college roommates at A&M for two years, and she became so much more than a friend--she became family. Regan has always been my fierce protector, my cheerleader, and the person who reminds me of my own strength. She's the person who always has my back, no questions asked. Regan's loyalty and courage inspire me every day. Lucky for me, she's stuck with me forever!

Blake Wright

Groomsman

Blake is without a doubt my oldest friend. I often tell Emma stories of all the incredibly stupid and reckless things Blake and I would get into. Like the time Blake witnessed me jumping my bike off of a ramp only to notice my front tire had somehow came unattached to the bike. This ultimately resulted with me spectacularly plummeting into the street. I do not get to see Blake as much since he is starting a beautiful family and is an active member of our United States Navy. However, when we do get to see each other, it is as if two pieces of a puzzle have been put back together.

Kyler Campbell

Bridesmaid

I've always dreamed of having a sister, and when I met Kyler a little over five years ago, that dream came true. As my fiancé's sister, she welcomed me into their family with open arms and an open heart. Over the years, we've celebrated countless special moments together, and she's become so much more than family by marriage--she's the sister of my heart. This wedding makes official what I already knew--she's stuck being my sister forever, and I couldn't be happier about it!

Gibson Campbell

Groomsman

What could I say about Gibson that nobody already knows about this kid. Gibson is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met. He is a the person I go to when I need to figure out a song name, the band, the year it came out, what the song is about, how it did on the charts, and when he first heard the song and what video game this song was featured on. That is just regarding music, not the other 1,000 subjects he can discuss. One of the greatest things about being Gibson's brother is the fact that I did not have to go out into the world and look for a best friend. Lucky for me I had to wait a few years and I would be able to have my best friend as my sibling. I could not express enough how much Gibson means to anyone in this world who has had the pleasure of interacting with him and I cannot wait to see what kind of world he will create.

Cassidy Surratt

Bridesmaid

When I formed a study group with Cassidy in law school, I knew immediately that I'd made the right choice. Her incredible tenacity and unwavering dedication to her craft inspired me then and continues to inspire me now. Cassidy approaches everything in life with passion and purpose, whether it's conquering law school or being an amazing friend. She reminds me to pursue excellence in all that I do, and her friendship has been one of the greatest gifts of my legal education. Law school brought us together, and I'm so glad it did!

Isaiah Espinoza

Groomsman

I did not meet Isaiah until junior year of high school but man am I glad that I did. I have made some great memories with Isaiah over the years like attending family functions, gorging ourselves at a Brazilian Steakhouse, to attending live events in Houston and making some of the funniest memories I have. Even if it is a simple hangout with Isaiah, you can guarantee that one, if not both of us, will be dying of laughter at something the other person did. Just know that if you see the two of us together, it is about to be a great time.

Misty A. Hataway Coné

Mother of the Bride

For the earliest years of my life, it was just my mom and me against the world. I would not be where I am or who I am today without the strength and perseverance of my mother. She is fierce in every sense of the word--a warrior who taught me by example what it means to be strong. Yet with all her fierceness, she always reminded me to "treat others the way I want to be treated" and challenged me every day to "make the world a better place" before dropping me off at school or practice. My mother has always been my role model, and every day I strive to become the version of myself that she has always seen in me. Her belief in me has shaped everything I am.

Amanda Mills

Mother of the Groom

If there was anyone in this world besides Emma who I have annoyed beyond comprehension it is my mother. I could sit here and try and pick the perfect example to give you; however, I think it would be easier to simply say I love to annoy/aggravate my mother. Whether it be stupid little sayings, doing annoying actions, or even scaring her so well it could have been put on AFV. What I am getting at is that no matter what I have put my mother through (and I would like to say vise versa as well!) she has never ever stopped caring for/loving me. I could not think of a better person to have helped shape me into the person who I am and I will never, ever forget the impact that my mother has had on my life.

Paul Frederick Coné

Father of the Bride

Not everyone gets to pick their father, but I did, and I have never once regretted choosing Paul Frederick Coné as my dad. To know my dad is to love him. From his countless coaching euphemisms that became life lessons, to singing Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" with me, to making banana pancakes on lazy mornings, to always knowing exactly when to crack the perfect joke--my dad has been my constant. There has never been a single moment in my life when I doubted whether he would support me. His unwavering loyalty through everything life has thrown our way has never been questioned. I could not have chosen a better father than Paul Frederick Coné, and I would choose him a thousand times over, because he truly represents what it means to be a dad.

Derek Walker

Father of the Groom

It is pretty dang impossible to not be able to see that Derek Walker is my father. From my laugh, how I think about life, to my shitty facial hair, it is clear I am his son. This of course is not a bad thing; I do not know who I would be in this world if it were not for my father and I cannot express enough how thankful I am to have him in this world. I have made a lot of great memories with my father from our countless hunting trips across various parts of the states to doing small time projects in the backyard. My dad has never been shy of putting me to work and letting me figure things out as I go along. But, when I need help he is always right there when I need him ready to do whatever needs to be done.

Judge Daryl Moore

Officiant

It is our profound honor to have the Honorable Judge Daryl Moore officiate our wedding ceremony. Judge Moore served with distinction as judge for the 333rd District Court of Texas in Harris County from 2018 to 2020. My connection to Judge Moore spans many years--from childhood memories of sitting beside him in the Deer Park High School basketball gym to the privilege of being his student in Texas Trial & Appellate Procedure at South Texas College of Law in Spring 2025. Throughout my life, Judge Moore has exemplified the qualities of honor, integrity, and kindness. As an educator, he distinguishes himself not only through his humility, intelligence, and wisdom, but through his genuine investment in his students' comprehension and growth. While I never envisioned myself as someone who dreamed of weddings, I have always known with certainty who I would want to officiate such a momentous occasion. Long before I met Preston, Judge Moore was that person. To have him preside over our union is an honor we hold dear and a moment I will treasure always.

Tina Sanford

Wedding Planner

We cannot imagine planning our wedding without Tina Sanford by our side. From our very first meeting, Tina has been an absolute blessing--keeping us grounded when we started to overthink every detail and gently guiding us back to what truly matters. Her patience with us has been extraordinary, and her genuine care for bringing our vision to life has made all the difference. Tina's exceptional guidance and unwavering dedication have transformed our planning experience into something truly special. She possesses a rare gift for understanding her clients' vision and bringing it to fruition with grace and expertise. She has prioritized our personal aesthetic and wishes every step of the way, turning what could have been an overwhelming process into something we've actually enjoyed. We are so grateful to have found someone who believes in our love story as much as we do.
