FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please try to RSVP at least 3 months in advance so we have an accurate head count leading up to the wedding.

Question

Is everyone invited to all of the events?

Answer

We regret that we are not able to invite all guests to all events. When you RSVP, you will see which events you are invited to attend. We sincerely appreciate your attendance!

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

We encourage guests to come in formal attire to all events. With that said, the kind of formal attire you choose to wear is entirely up to you! American formal attire is certainly acceptable. Indian formal attire is iconic for its flattering fits, colorful palettes, and unique designs. If you are interested in purchasing Indian formal attire, check out these popular online stores we recommend for inspiration (listed in order of most affordable to most expensive options): www.cbazaar.com www.qivii.com www.kikiinternational.com www.lashkaraa.com www.shopethnos.com www.shyamnarayanprasad.com www.nakhrali.com www.cedarandpine.com Order soon so that your outfit arrives with plenty of time!

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

If you are coming in from out of town, check out the "Travel" section to see the hotels we recommend to be close to the events. If you have any questions, or need any help finding accommodations, we can assist you! Please do not hesitate to reach out.

Question

How do we get around to events?

Answer

We recommend taking a Lyft to go to and from all of the venues since there is limited parking available. We will be covering the cost of Lyfts to and from events if you use our link. See the "Travel" tab for more information (link will be available 90 days before the event).

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Kids are welcome and expected to be in attendance.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We do not! But you are welcome to pitch in to our Newlywed Fund, either via @emmabrent on Venmo or 503-593-9175 on Zelle.

Question

What are the color schemes for the events?

Answer

We have picked color schemes for each day, but you are welcome to come in whatever color suits you best. For anyone looking to be on theme, the Mehendi and Sangeet on the 26th will have an Orange and Teal color scheme, and the Wedding Ceremony on the 27th will have a Red and Gold color scheme.
