The invisible string theory is the idea that "your person" is hidden in plain sight, until the universe decides it's the perfect time for them to be together. Emma and Noah don't remember when they first met, but sometimes that's the best start to a relationship. Noah was good friends with Emma's cousin and always around for Rude family gatherings. After crossing paths all that time, the two attended the 10th-grade homecoming together at Waukee High School. But, timing wasn’t quite right for a high school sweetheart love story so they stayed just friends after the dance. However as the years went by, Noah never passed on the chance to attend Rude family Christmas because it meant getting the opportunity to see and talk to Emma. After the 2017 holidays, the two started going on dates and hanging out with Emma's roommates every weekend in Ames. After Emma graduated that spring, they dated long-distance for two years while she lived in Dallas. In 2020, they moved to the San Francisco Bay Area together for Noah's summer internship. It was such a fun summer that they named their dog Berkeley when they moved to Des Moines together that winter! Noah’s job then took them to Sonoma County, California where they spent two years honing their taste for great wine and food. Towards the end of their time in California, Noah proposed at one of their favorite places, MacRostie Winery. New work projects brought them to Oklahoma City last fall where the two will add saying ‘I do’ to their growing list of places, adventures and memories together. They’re grateful for the invisible string that has tied their stories together and are so excited to see where life takes them next!
