Emma Joy Grace Wadsworth, came into my life during my "one last try" of Hinge. On our first date, Em generously gave me an extra 20 minutes to really reflect on my "one last try" motto, because she was so late! However, at least she's consistent. Consistently late, consistently loud, but most importantly, consistently loving. Em has brought endless fun and laughter into my life — along with five different bags from her car every time she visits. I’m so grateful for the woman she is: attentive, empathetic, and endlessly encouraging. She talks to me straight, laughs at my jokes, eats whatever I make and listens to me talk about my golf swing as if I’ve just come off the PGA Tour. Em has such a special connection with young people, always wanting to be another adult in their life who truly cares. She has a heart for Jesus and has been the biggest comfort to me during life's tricky seasons, my best friend! Love you my girl x

Niven Depak Patel, the love of my life, my best friend, but also a pain in the butt sometimes. He loves to spill cereal down himself, loves buying the most expensive produce in the supermarket and he loveees leaving the fridge door open. However, despite these pain points, he is the most amazing human being ever. He is kind, considerate and patient, acting with grace and humility. He never fails to make me laugh and feel loved. He makes me a better person and constantly encourages me in my faith. Most of all he is a faithful man of God, striving to love and treat people the way Jesus desired. I love you Niven and cannot wait to marry you. Em xx

Serving looks, laughs, chats, and legendary dance moves—Lydia is my fashion icon, party MVP, advice giver and the big sis who has been teaching me the art of sass since the age of six. With her quick wit, on point style and the ability to make anything fun, she's basically the Beyoncé of the bridal party. Lydia is incredibly loving, supportive and is always in your corner. I am very privileged to have a big sister like Lydia to stand beside me not just on my wedding day but in life (aww cheesy). She also introduced me to Burger fuel when I was 11 and that forever remains a highlight in my heart.

Best Man
I’ve asked Josh two important questions in my life. The first was 17 years ago at the EBIS Interchallenge (IYKYK): “Can I sit on the swing bridge with you?” to an enthisastic "Sure!". The second came earlier this year, when I asked if he’d be my Best Man. We’ve launched ourselves off trampolines and sheds, had countless midnight Pak N Save runs with Prison Break all-nighters and built the strongest of bonds through a whole lot of life lived. Josh is one of the most intelligent, faith-filled, and driven people I know — a great dad, a loving husband, and a best mate. Cheers to that EBIS swing bridge and cheers to Joshua Lopdell.

Meet Theresa, aka "T" – literally as sweet as the cakes she bakes. After countless sleepovers at Dave and T's, I can confirm she has the supernatural ability to make you feel so at home that their house is basically my house now. Need a chat, a hug or someone to validate your questionable life choices? Such as whether pyjamas count as everyday wear? (Um, duh.) T's your girl. T is simply awesome, and not just because she heroically put up with me vomiting in airport security - though that really sealed the "ride or die" friendship deal.

You'd think being 6ft 5, sporting a (slightly less) glorious moustache and a razor-sharp jawline would be enough, but Tiggles offers so much more. The Canadian Moosehound, as we've never called him, is sweeter than PURE CANADIAN maple syrup straight from a PURE CANADIAN tree. A kind and gentle soul, many believe The BFG by Roald Dahl to be a biography of Teghan's life. He’s basically a Facebook Marketplace ambassador — though ironically, we couldn't trade him out when he rocked up to mum’s doorstep over seven years ago with a “Hi, how you doing bud, I’m Teghan — sorry aboot that, eh.” He's always the first to offer a helping hand and a listening ear in equal measure. Soft spoken, deeply curious and the strongest of work ethics I know. He'll ruin that reputation though, by ripping into you for being 5ft 7 and burning your hand with milk from a camping pot at any chance he gets... or so I've heard :(

Introducing the life of the party... Amber! The ultimate hype woman who could make wearing a paper bag feel like you're serving looks at the Met Gala. She's incredibly kind, thoughtful, and never afraid to speak what's on her mind – especially when enthusiastically spilling my love life details to my entire family (thanks, Amber). She's endlessly fun and always willing to help. Thank goodness I didn't scare her off when Maff first brought her around for dinner because I need her!

We all know this young man for his bright smile, 2010 Justin Bieber haircut and deadly good looks. However, behind that smile is a terrible flurry of dad jokes waiting to spew out, juxtaposed by comedian-calibre storytelling and timing. Also known as Depak's Favourite Son, for his superior ability to mow grass, he really is a cut above the rest. A faithful man of God, Dave inspires me daily by the way he powerfully prays, studies and receives the Word and humbly leans into God's plans for his life. He treats anyone and everyone he meets with the same respect and dignity they deserve without question, the way Jesus did. I present to you, the one, the only, David Lewis Patel.

I first met this gorgeous gal at The Warehouse when Niv and I were just 'hanging out' and I wasn't sure whether to hide or not. I'm so glad I didn't because Jade has become the friend I didn't know I needed. She's the best gal pal you could ask for—loving, kind, hilarious, honest and wise. She'll tell you straight what she thinks, which I lovvveee, even when she points out that I'm always late (what's new?) I deeply treasure our dates, double dates, and holiday adventures! Packed with long walkies, good wine, delicious food, competitive games, heart-to-heart chats, and endless laughter. I'm so grateful to have found a friend like Jade who truly gets me and loves me exactly as I am—chronic lateness and all!

However, this Dan is in that upper echelon, that 1% of Dans since the Ice Age, that can actually claim to be The Man. He’s a quiet guy with a loud sense of loyalty — always the first to roll up his sleeves, think of others, and get stuck in without a word of complaint. No fuss, no fanfare, just genuine heart. Always up for a great yarn about life, Dan loves a long pause to consider and purposefully articulate what he wants to say, ideally with a G&T in hand. Dan: The Man, The Myth, The Legend… The 1%

She's cute, she's sweet, she's silly, she's Miss Florence Grace Wadsworth! My bridal party would not be complete without my gorgeous 11 year old niece/sidekick. She too carries the uncontrollable giggles gene (my favourite thing about her). So when we’re together, we don't even know what the joke is, we're just laughing because we’re laughing... LOL. Over the years we’ve shared so many cup-filling moments: fashion parades, ice creams, sleepovers, games, crafting sessions and baking afternoons. Miss Flo is very special to me, I love her dearly. She is simply fabulous and it’s an honour to have her by my side on the big day!
