Kane Mountain Fire Tower
Family friendly hike that is ~.9 miles. At the top there is a fire tower that you can climb and see all of the beautiful fall leaves and lakes in the area. It should be close to peak foliage. This picture was take 10/4/2024.
Town of Caroga Lake
This picture was taken a few years ago on Green Lake (Emma's parents live here). Take a drive up to the Town of Caroga Lake and see all the beautiful leaves. There are 5 lakes that you pass on a ~20 minute drive (Peck's Lake, Caroga Lake, Green Lake/Canada Lake and Pine Lake).
Willie Wildlife Marsh Trail
Flat wheelchair/stroller friendly trail through the woods to a picnic area/marsh with different bridges that overlook the marsh area. There is an option for ~1.4 mile walking loop. Picture taken a few years ago on a walk there.
Rogers Family Orchards/Cideryard
Orchard is open daily in the fall. Family owned apple orchard .5 miles from where Emma lived growing up with animals, wagon rides, apple picking, corn maze, cider donuts and much more! The Cideryard has hard cider, beer, mixed drinks and delicious chicken wings/food. Open only on Thursday, Friday, Saturday ~4-9
Johnson Hall State Historic Site
Small park that you can take a walk around.
Canada Lake Store & Marine
Store that is locally run by a sweet family where Emma worked for ~6 years in high school/college. Has the best sandwiches, ice cream, boat/ paddle board rentals and a gift shop with different ADK items!
Nick Stoner Municipal Golf Course
