Nick and Emma first met at Capital University in 2018. They were introduced by Nick's college friend, who went to high school with Emma (S/O Tyler). The two stayed friends for many years, but always had a crush on one another. In 2020, Nick asked Emma on a date for pizza after she was supporting a capital lacrosse game. They had their first date at Rubino's Pizza in Bexley, Ohio. After that, the couple started to date during the COVID pandemic. They spent the majority of their days at Buckeye Lake, boating, walking their new dog Hudson, and hanging out with friends and family. During the next few years, Nick and Emma enjoyed traveling to Colorado, Alaska, Turks and Caicos, Florida, North Carolina, Michigan, New York, and Ireland. They moved to Kent, Ohio where they have grown to love their jobs and new home. Nick proposed to Emma in September of 2024 at Buckeye Lake where their love story really began. Emma thought she was going on a walk with the dogs, but Nick had it all planned out. Emma clearly had no idea she was being proposed to as she had a shirt on that read "Dog Mom." Luckily, her sister Laini brought a dress for her to change into. They celebrated with their loved ones over food and drinks at a local restaurant. We can't wait to celebrate with you at our wedding ceremony and reception in February.
