Accommodations

If you are in need of accommodations, there are four near by locations with many rentals available. Option 1 - (40 min drive to wedding location) Kailua Kona is around 40 min away. It is the second largest town on the Big Island with many things to do, restaurants and tourist activities. We recommend AirBnB and VRBO for vacation rentals. Many hotels are also available. Option 2 - Waikoloa Village (20 min drive to wedding location) Waikoloa is a small town up the hill from the coast. It has a grocery store and other businesses, but is mostly residential. This is a more affordable option, and is close to the beach. Option 3 - Puako Bay Apartments/Houses (5 min drive to wedding location) More expensive option very close to the wedding location. On the coast. Some properties may have coastal access. Option 4 - Waialea Bay (0 min from the wedding location) There are several very pricy houses adjacent to the wedding location. They are available through VRBO or AirBnB. NOTE: The bridesmaids and their families and the parents and siblings of the bride and groom will be staying in the three beach houses at the wedding location. Flight

Kona Airport

Kona International Airport is one of the two airports located on the Big Island. It is 30 min from the wedding location. The other airport is in Hilo and is around 2 hours away. A rental car will be needed. Click the button below to get more information about the airport.
