Where should we stay?

Answer

Our venue is in Aliquippa, PA, which is about 40 minutes from Downtown Pittsburgh. We have blocked rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn (Pittsburgh Area Beaver Valley), which is only 13 minutes from the venue (Shermichael Woods) and about 15 minutes from the airport. We will also have a shuttle service that allows Hilton Garden Inn guests to travel between the hotel and the venue. If you are driving into town, you may want to stay in the City of Pittsburgh! If so, some of our favorite neighborhoods are Bloomfield, Lawrenceville, and The Strip. There are several hotels and airbnbs.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

There is no dress code! Our wedding will be at an outdoor venue - a cozy tent in the woods! Since our wedding is in the middle of September, we believe the weather will be between 70-80 degrees. Dress in your favorite fall colors!

How long should we be in town?

Answer

Our wedding will start around 4:30pm on Saturday, September 19. We recommend coming into town on Friday and leaving on Sunday. See the "Things To Do" page to see some of our favorite things to do in PGH.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue!

Will there be a shuttle to get to the venue?

Answer

There will be a shuttle service that will go back and forth between the venue (Shermichael Woods) and the hotel (Hilton Garden Inn) starting at 3pm and ending around 10:30pm. See more under the "Travel" Tab on this website.
