I have a food allergy. Can I make a special request?

Answer

We'll do our best to make sure everyone will be able to eat safely. Dinner will be served buffet style, but the servers are aware that some of our guests have food allergies. Please be sure to indicate any food allergy/dietary need on your reply. Then, simply let a server know and they will guide you to safe choices.

When do you need my reply?

Please let us know your plans as soon as possible! Emma's birthday is June 3, and we'd love to have your reply by then. Consider it a gift for the bride.

Are kids welcome?

Please check your invitation! We've invited the children of some close family members, but had to limit the number of guests to fit in the reception venue. Hopefully, you can enjoy some adult time celebrating with us!

Is a hot dog a sandwich?

Answer

This is a day to celebrate. For today, let's all agree to avoid divisive topics like this one. The USDA describes a sandwich as “a meat or poultry filling between two slices of bread, a bun, or a biscuit.” By that definition, sure, a hot dog is a sandwich, but a grilled cheese is not. Others insist that the hot dog is its own unique item that exceeds the sandwich category. We're just not sure we'll ever know the answer.
