Question

Where is the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

Both the Ceremony and Reception will take place at The Barn at Hansen Hill Farm located at 570 Gifford Rd, Johnsonville, NY 12094. The ceremony will take place outside behind the barn on the lawn (weather permitting). Cocktail Hour and the Reception will take place inside the barn. We will have signs directing guests to each location.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Guests should RSVP by Saturday, August 8th! If you do not RSVP by this date, we will assume you are not coming and will update our headcount accordingly.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We ask that the only people to attend the ceremony and reception are those that are indicated on your invitations.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your children, we kindly ask that our wedding remain an adults only occasion. Only guests indicated on invitations should be in attendance. The only two children at the wedding will be the Junior Groomsman and Flower Girl.

Is the Barn handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes the ceremony location and inside the Barn are handicap accessible.

What are your wedding colors?

Answer

The wedding colors include: Cabernet, Mulberry, and Gray. Please try to avoid wearing these colors so that the Bridal Party will stick out. We also ask that guests avoid white, ivory, and cream, which are reserved for the Bride. Please note that the Maid of Honor is authorized to use extreme measures (like, fruit punch super soakers) on anyone wearing white, ivory, or cream.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are asking that guests wear clothing that would be considered dressy casual. For women, please wear a nice blouse and pants, dress, or pant suit. For men, please wear a button up shirt or a polo shirt with dress pants, khakis, or jeans. Please no sweatpants.

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes there is on-site parking. Please follow the signs to park.

What time should I arrive for the Ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before the ceremony starts so you have adequate time to park and find your seat. Arriving between 3:15-3:20 pm should provide plenty of time. The location of the ceremony will be outside on the lawn behind the barn. Please follow the signs to the ceremony location.

Will you serve food during the cocktail hour?

Answer

Yes, there will be food during the cocktail hour. Our caterer will have a charcuterie table filled with fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, assorted chips, crackers and dips, olives, bread, etc. The cash bar will also be open during this time. Guests are welcome to grab a drink and snack during the cocktail hour.

How will the food be served during the reception? What food will be served during the reception?

Answer

The food at the reception will be served buffet style. Our DJ will call tables to go and get food one or two tables at a time. The buffet will include: make your own salad (with caesar or italian dressing), rolls and butter, BBQ pulled pork or BBQ pulled chicken with sandwich rolls if wanted, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and a vegetable.

Will there be a Bar Service available during the Reception?

Answer

There will be a CASH ONLY bar on site. There will be mixed drinks, beer, wine, coffee, tea, water, and nonalcoholic beverages available. We are asking that NO outside alcoholic beverages be brought on-site.

Do you have a Registry? If so, where?

Answer

There is not a registry for the wedding. If you would like to give the couple a gift, please consider giving money towards their honeymoon or camper fund.
