Our Story
HOW WE MET:
Matt and Emma had always known of each other since high school while working at Mission BBQ. It wasn’t until the summer of 2021, when Emma returned to Mission to work for the season, when things turned into something more, and by that fall, they were officially dating.
OUR LIFE TOGETHER:
Matt and Emma have supported one another through so many big milestones—college, paramedic school, graduations, starting our careers, and more! We have had so much fun traveling to new places, cheering at hockey games, weekend adventures, and everything in between. In August 2024, we bought our first home and started an exciting new chapter together.
OUR ENGAGEMENT:
Matt proposed to Emma on June 7, 2025, during what she thought was a celebratory night out for finishing her school year. After dinner and a walk around the art museum, a surprise photo turned into the moment Matt got down on one knee—making it the best day ever. We are so excited to spend the rest of our lives together.
