FAQs

You've got questions? We've got answers!
Question

What time should I arrive for the Ceremony?

Answer

Guests should arrive between 3:30 and 3:45pm. The Ceremony will start promptly at 4pm, so all guests should be seated by then.

Question

Is there parking at the Ceremony and Reception Venue?

Answer

The Ceremony Venue (Celebration Pavilion at Queen Elizabeth Park) has a pay parking lot just steps away from the Pavilion. The Reception Venue (Heritage Hall) has metered parking on Main Street (with 2 Hr limit), and some areas of free parking on the side streets. Since city street parking can be tricky, we highly recommend taking an Uber, Lyft or Taxi ride to the venue to avoid any issues!

Question

What should I do between the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

With an hour or so between events while we take photos, we recommend exploring the gardens of Queen Elizabeth Park, or making your way to Main Street to grab a drink or a bite at a local restaurant or bar. We've made some suggestions under the 'Things To Do' tab of the website.

Question

Will the Ceremony or Reception be outdoors or indoors?

Answer

Both events will be indoors, so no worries about the weather! Typically this time of year is warm and sunny, and that's what we've ordered for the day!

Question

What's the best way to get around the area?

Answer

We recommend using Uber & Lyft to get around. The venues are just a 10 minute drive apart, and approximately 15 minutes from downtown.

Question

Will there be vegetarian / vegan / gluten-free options available?

Answer

We'll have both vegetarian and gluten-free options for dinner service. If you have a specific vegan diet or other dietary restrictions, please reach out to us so we can try and accommodate!

Question

Do you have a registry or a honeymoon fund?

Answer

We have everything we need to start this phase of our life (no toasters necessary!) so no need to buy gifts, but if you'd like to contribute anything to our Honeymoon Fund, we'd be so grateful! But there's absolutely no pressure, we are just thrilled to celebrate the day with you!
